Although I wasn't too bothered about keeping a pup from Faith this time round I kind of had the idea that I'd like a nice little sable bitch if there was one. Well, she wasn't exactly what I had in mind when she was born with a grossly enlarged tongue, possibly due to trauma suffered during the birth?? It was touch and go whether she would survive as she really struggled feeding for the first few weeks but she kept fighting. At three weeks old she was 1/3 of the weight of her littermates but she was the first to open her eyes and push up on her feet and was bright as a button. We nicknamed her 'little mouse' ('cause that's just what she looked like!) and it stuck. She's completely grown into her tongue now and has finished up a similar size to her mum and granny.

She is a super little character and already reminds me so much of her mum Faith and granny Lexie. Despite her problems and the fact she is a TNS carrier she just had to stay and when choosing a registered name for her with the 'believe' theme there was really only one choice for her...believe in me :)

I never kept her with the intention of showing her but she's actually started shaping up really nicely so she will attend a few shows over summer and we'll see how she gets on.
