Puppies have arrived!!
4 boys - 1 blue roan, 1 lemon roan, 2 blue roan & tan
2 girls - 1 blue roan, 1 lemon roan
The puppies are mostly white when newborn but tan points and roaning will develop as they grow. Although roaning is dominant to open markings in cockers and therefore much more common, the recessive gene for open marks is present in both lines so it is possible that some of the pups will stay open marked...we should have more of an idea about markings in a few weeks when they're a bit bigger.
Both parents have low hip scores and have current clear eye test certificates including gonioscopy. These puppies will also be genetically free from PRA and FN as Travis is tested clear for both conditions.
Puppies should be suitable for flyball, agility and as active family pets.
Travis and Teal both have fabulous temperaments, happy, outgoing and good natured. They both compete in BFA flyball and Teal has also competed in Agility (she is measured small, Travis is medium)
